Work Schedule module rebuilt
The new version of the Berqun application is now ready for use. With this release, a critical and functional transformation has been delivered, particularly in the Work Schedule module, along with significant improvements across the system in terms of performance, stability, and ease of use.
Agent builds
- Windows
- v106
- macOS
- v1.3.46
⚙️ Agent Updates
New Versions
- Windows Agent: v106 - v50
- macOS Agent: v1.3.46
With these releases, important enhancements have been implemented in the agent architecture, focusing on performance, stability, and data collection mechanisms.
🔍 Key Enhancements
🎙️ Listing of applications using microphone access (Windows Agent)
The agent detects and reports statistical information only at the operating system level regarding which application used microphone access and during which time interval.
For example, the usage of microphone access by Teams.exe between 10:15 – 10:42 is recorded, while no audio content is collected, stored, or transmitted under any circumstances.
No audio recording, listening, storage, or transmission is performed under any circumstances.
💾 Memory (RAM) Usage Statistics (Windows Agent)
- Measured every 1 minute
- Transmitted to the server
⚙️ CPU Usage Statistics (Windows Agent)
Previously passive CPU usage tracking is now fully active.
- Measured every 1 minute
- Sent to the server
🖧 VDI Connection Type Detection (VMware Horizon)
The agent can now automatically detect whether a VDI connection is established from “Home” or “Office”.
- External and internal connections are classified separately
📅 Work Schedule Enhancements
With the new release, “Work Schedule v2” has been introduced. This version includes comprehensive functional and performance improvements in the scheduling infrastructure. In previous versions, the work schedule had to be created manually every year, and any incorrect configuration would halt the system’s score calculation.
With the new version, the work schedule is now:
- ✅ Automatically generated
- ✅ No longer requires manual intervention
- ✅ Prevents errors and operational workload
✨ Highlighted Improvements
🌐 New schedule screen
With a completely redesigned user interface (UI), schedule management is now simpler and more functional.
📆 Date range definition
Start and end dates can now be assigned to schedule allocations.
👥 Team and sub-team assignments
Schedules can now be assigned at both team and sub-team levels.
🔄 Multiple schedules within the same year
Previously, users could belong to only one schedule. It is now possible to be included in multiple schedules at different time periods within the same year.
🏖️ New Official Holidays module
Official holiday management has been separated into an independent module and delivered with a modern user interface.
⚡ Performance and Queue Mechanism
Schedule changes are saved instantly, while calculations are processed in the background via a queue mechanism. This ensures system performance is preserved during large-scale changes.
📊 Affected Modules
- Leave request processes
- Weekend overtime entries
- Reports
- Office and user dashboards
📈 Productivity Rule Screen Improvement
-
The productivity rule definition screen has been visually and functionally enhanced. In addition to team selection, a new option “Include sub-teams” has been introduced.
-
With this feature, defined productivity rules can be automatically applied not only to the selected team but also, optionally, to all related sub-teams. This eliminates the need to define separate rules for sub-teams and significantly simplifies management processes.
